Occupation: Vampire who has slayer dreams.
Family: Olivia Turner, biological mother (deceased), Robert Turner, biological father (deceased), Sarah Turner, biological sister (deceased), Edward Turner, biological brother (deceased), William the Bloody aka Spike (sire), the Aurelian line (I am not dissecting the family tree as Connor's birth and Darla's siring by Dru broke it, thanks.)
Status: Confused vampire with slayer abilities.
Background Info: Sophia was a potential slayer that was turned by Spike back in the late 1940's. Drusilla heard about a mirror that was rumored to have the capabilities to allow a vampire to see his or her reflection. She wanted the mirror so Spike set out to retrieve it. He was given a task by the one who was supposedly in possession of the mirror; kill the current slayer and all of those on the list of potential slayers that the Watcher's council kept under lock and key. A bunch of girls were killed along with their families and watchers. Spike was ruthless once he was on a mission. Especially a mission for Drusilla. When he met Sophia, he stalked her for a bit to learn her habits and schedule. She was a good girl who adored her parents and younger siblings.

It was her sister who invited Spike in when he appeared at the house just after Sunday evening church services. Sophia was tortured and forced to watch her family die. She'd managed to run away to the near by church to seek help, but Spike caught up with her there. Sophia attempted to fight Spike off, but since she was only a potential slayer who had yet to receive proper training since she was near the bottom of the list of potentials, she quickly lost the battle. The last thing she remembers before she died was that she looked into his eyes that changed from blue to yellow and called him an abomination. Apparently that was the words to make him decide to turn her into one too. Two days later she rose from her grave and found her sire and his mate who she considered her new parents for a few years. It was Dru's insanity that eventually made Sophia decide she couldn't stand to spend an eternity with a crazy person so one night while hunting she took off. She had hoped Spike to follow her, but she figured his loyalty was to his sire first.

Over the years she had taken many aliases and traveled the world. Her favorite prey was blue eyed boys and dark eyed girls as they reminded her of the family she ran away from. A few years ago she felt something happen to her that made things change. Suddenly she had vivid dreams of people being hurt by demons. At first it turned her on and she would delight in the visions of innocents being prey to the demons. Slowly she became obsessed with saving the people in her dreams and taking out the demons. She felt like a traitor to her kind. Demons killing demons? That was a sin of the most vile kind.

The most vivid dream she had was of her sire wearing some tacky pendant and bursting into flames as a beautiful blonde held his hand. She woke up screaming for him and clawing at her flesh with rage. She wanted to rip the blonde girl apart for daring to leave Spike to die, but more so she hated her because Spike had looked at her in a way that she had never seen him look at Sophia. The obsession nearly drove her mad and made her wonder if mental illness was genetic in vamp lines as Dru had been a loon and Spike appeared to have lost what was left of his mind by sacrificing himself to the flames.

Sophia has been confused about the changes taking place in her. Where she was once a predator of the grandest kind she has found it hard to enjoy the blood lust and kills she makes now. She tends to prey on criminals and demons more than innocents even though it is the innocent who has the sweeter blood. She's researched her line and discovered that Spike was brought back and that he had a soul forced into him much like Angelus. She had grown up on the stories of Angelus and Darla, so it shocked her to learn that Darla sacrificed herself so that the prophecy child could be born. It was as if all of the Aurelians were turning into productive members of society rather than the legends the used to be. It horrifies her to think somehow she is being turned away from her nature and forced to embrace the 'help the hopeless' mentality that her other family members have taken on.

It was only a couple of days ago that she had a new dream of a beautiful yacht ripping apart and sinking. In the dream she saw her sire jump overboard and wash up on an island. He could walk in the sun there and it convinced her that he was human. She knew it was her obligation to find him and save him. To give him the gift he gave her in the church. Yet there is a small part of her that believes it would be wrong to turn him. It's that part of her that makes her believe she is close to losing her grip on her sanity and turn out like the other psychotics in her line.

A vampire who wants to save people? That is true abomination, isn't it?
